  • CONSULTATION: With students, parents, guardians, teachers, and others.
  • REFERRALS: To community, state, federal, and public agencies and private therapists.
  • COLLEGE/CAREER: Information, guidance, and direction.
  • TESTING: ACT, PSAT, PLAN, Career Planning, AP Testing.
  • GUIDANCE CURRICULUM: Classroom presentations.

    • Academic counseling including scheduling of classes
    • Transition from junior high school to four-year high school                                                                     
    • Guidance curriculum in the classroom regarding drugs/alcohol, harassment, importance of establishing grade point average, etc.
    • A minimum of twice yearly (once per semester) meetings with students.
    • Meetings with parents for four-year planning

  • Sophomores

    • Academic counseling including scheduling of classes
    • Administration of sophomore testing (PSAT)
    • Interpretation of PSAT Results
    • Introduction to college counseling

    • AP test administration
    • Meetings with parents for educational planning

  • Juniors

    • Academic counseling including scheduling of classes
    • Administration of PSAT testing
    • Counseling for SAT, ACT testing

    • Administer ACT Exam to all juniors
