Visiting students can expect the following dress code when shadowing at Bishop Gorman:
Shirts must be collared and tucked in.
Polo shirts must be solid colors, no patterns, with only small or school logos. Button-up shirts must also be solid colors, with only small or school logos. No plaid or shirt designs permitted.
Pants must be black, navy or khaki pants.
Pants must not have designs or denim and may not be frayed, torn, ripped or baggy. It is preferable for young men to wear belts.
Outerwear must be in line with Bishop Gorman student dress policies.
Hooded sweatshirts (“hoodies”) are not permitted.
For young men:
Young men are expected to be clean shaven with appropriate hairstyles. Prospective male students with hair below the shirt collar must have their hair tied back/up and out of the way in an appropriate manner, as our Bishop Gorman male students are not permitted to have long hair.
For young women:
Only school-uniform skirts (from a prospective student’s regular uniform) will be permitted and must be appropriate in length as determined by the administration.
For all students:
Closed toe shoes must be worn. Tattoos must be covered. Only ears may be pierced and not in excess. No hats are permitted.
