Applying for Financial Aid

Financial Aid Applications for the 2015-2016 school year are now available at the links below.

Need-based financial aid is available to qualified families on a first come-first served basis. Bishop Gorman High School does not offer academic or athletic scholarships.

The application process for financial aid is separate from the admissions process. New families may begin the financial aid process before the official notification of their student’s acceptance and final registration. However, they must complete the entire admission application and be accepted to Bishop Gorman before they will hear back from the Tuition Assistance Committee on their potential financial aid award.

Returning families must re-apply for financial aid each year

Financial Aid Process

  1. Financial Aid applications for the 2015-2016 school year became available on November 1, 2014 for new and returning students.
  2. Parents must complete an online application annually through FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.  To apply for Financial Aid please Click on this link. Submit your Federal Form 1040 Income Tax Return, W-2 forms and supporting documentation for non-taxable income to FACTS.
  3. FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment reviews and provides an evaluation to Bishop Gorman on each application. Based on this evaluation, the funds available for aid, and the number of families applying, a decision is made by the school's Tuition Assistance Committee on the amount of financial aid awarded.
  4. Incoming freshmen whose applications have been verified by FACTS Grant and Aid Assessments by February 28, 2015 will be reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee.  Notification of awards will be mailed by mid-March.  All returning students that have been verified and reviewed will receive notification of award mid-April.

Please note: If you are a new family and requesting the Catholic Parishioner rate, you must submit the Parish Affidavit Form signed by the pastor by July 1, 2015.

PLEASE NOTE: We continue to accept and review financial aid applications after  February 28, 2015.  However, please understand that assistance is granted on a first come, first served basis to those who have a demonstrated need.
