Cost of Attendance  

Tuition rates for 2016-2017 school year are:

  • Catholic Parishioner rate w/signed Parish Affidavit  -  $11,500

Registration

Returning students' registration packets will be given to the Counselors to hand out to students when they select their classes. Freshman packets will be mailed the first week of March.
  

Applying for Tuition Assistance

Need-based tuition assistance is available to qualified families on a first come-first served basis. Bishop Gorman High School does not offer academic or athletic scholarships.

The application process for tuition assistance is separate from the admissions process. New families may begin the tuition assistance process before the official notification of their student’s acceptance and final registration. However, they must complete the entire admission application and be accepted to Bishop Gorman before they will hear back from the Tuition Assistance Committee on their potential award.

Returning families must re-apply for tuition assistance each year

Tuition Assistance Process

  1. Tuition Assistance applications for the 2016-2017 school year are now available for new and returning students.
  2. When filling out the online application, our school's Five-Digit Code is:  90120
  3. Parents must complete an online application annually through Smart Aid. To apply for Tuition Assistance please Click on this link. Submit your Federal Form 1040 Income Tax Return, 2015 W-2 forms and supporting documentation for non-taxable income to Smart Aid.
  4. Smart Aid reviews and provides an evaluation to Bishop Gorman on each application. Based on this evaluation, the funds available for assistance, and the number of families applying, a decision is made by the school's Tuition Assistance Committee on the amount awarded.
  5. Incoming freshmen whose applications have been verified by Smart Aid by February 19, 2016, will be reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee.  Notification of awards will be mailed by early-March.  All returning students that have been verified and reviewed will receive notification of award mid-April.  

PLEASE NOTE: We continue to accept and review tuition assistance applications after February 19, 2016.  However, please understand that assistance is granted on a first come, first served basis to those who have a demonstrated need. 

 

 

Bishop Gorman High School is "operated as an exempt school under the provision of NRS 394.211 and as such is exempt from the provisions of the Private Elementary and Secondary Education Authorization act."
