NEW CAMPUS PROJECT

BISHOP GORMAN KICKS OFF CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

On September 3, 2003, the Diocese of Las Vegas and Bishop Gorman High School launched a capital campaign to build a new school campus.

Bishop Gorman, the only Catholic high school in Las Vegas, has been providing quality Catholic education to the Valley for over 50 years in its present location.

In April of 2003, the Bishop Gorman Development Corporation signed an agreement with The Howard Hughes Corporation to purchase 35 acres in the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley off Hualapai near Russell. The property is in the master-planned community of Summerlin and is conveniently located near the I-215 beltway at 5959 S. Hualapai.
