ACCEPTANCE
  • 8th grade students applying for the 9th grade should take the Placement Exam on December 1, 2007, and they will be notified about their acceptance in March.
  • 8th grade students take the Placement Exam in December, and will be the first group of students to be accepted.  Students who apply to the school and do not take the exam will be notified of their acceptance after March.  Applications for all grades are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Students do not need to be Catholic to attend BGHS.

ACADEMIC DAY

  • School begins at 8:00 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
  • Tutoring is available on an as-needed basis by our N.H.S. students.
  • The average class size is 25 students per teacher.

RELIGION CLASSES

  • All students at BGHS are required to take Religion classes as part of their class curriculum.
     

FINANCES FOR 2007-2008 SCHOOL YEAR

  • 2007-2008 tuition costs are $9,950 for the regular tuition rate, and $8,500 for the active Catholic parishioner rate.  There are additional fees such as the registration fee, schoolbooks, uniforms, etc.  Please refer to the Tuition section of our website.
  • Financial aid is available. Applications for financial aid are available in January for the following school year.  Continuing students must apply for financial aid every year.
  • Academic scholarships are available and applications (essay format) will be available in the Business Office after March 1, 2008.  Completed applications are due by Friday, April 25, 2008.
  • Under no circumstances are athletic scholarships awarded at BGHS.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

  • The Summer Enrichment Program is currently being developed, and it will give students the opportunity to earn a variety of credits in several academic disciplines.
